It’s Halloween time again! If you recall last year’s Halloween we went for a hike, stopped at a pumpkin farm, and then flew kites on the beach. Well it was so much fun we decided to repeat it again this year! This time we got our pumpkins first, then rode our bikes to the beach and flew the kite. The weather this year was drastically different than last year, though. I think it would be fun to compare the pumpkin patch and beach photos because they don’t even look like the same place.
Anyway, we may have made a tradition out of this pumpkin farm and kite flying thing. I think it’s fun. And of course, we carved pumpkins. This year I went with a headless horseman and Eric chose to do a Duff beer can from the Simpsons. They came out pretty well and we have them displayed on the brick planter by our porch with little electric candles inside. Maybe we’ll even get trick-or-treaters for the first time since moving to California! We decorated a little bit outside just in case and bought a bag of candy.
